I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Brenda Fortune, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’s new Coordinator. Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts in Health Equity and Africana Studies from Rhodes College.
Brenda is very adept at developing and implementing diversity and inclusion training programs. Brenda also has experience with coordinating multicultural events closely related to core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Her background includes, but is not limited to, successfully advocating for the inclusion of marginalized groups in the workplace using data and employee interactions. Her skills as a strategic thinker provide her with the proven ability to think outside the box to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
Brenda was born in Haiti and spends her Sundays cooking Haitian food.
